Objective
The primary objective of the "Support for TortureVictims" association and the individual outpatient clinics is to help refugee victims of torture and war overcome their traumatic experiences, thus enabling them to regain control of their life.
The purpose of inter-institutional collaboration is to reinforce specialist exchanges in the field of psychotraumatology and in social work with victims of trauma, in order to improve the effectiveness of the treatment and advisory process.
A further objective of "Support for TortureVictims" is to increase public awareness of the subject and promote understanding of migrants who have suffered violent trauma.
